The eight day of the 70th edition of the International Film Festival of Cannes started with more photocalls, screenings, premieres for the movies “The Beguiled” directed by Sofia Coppola and starring Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Colin Farrell and Angourie Rice; “ZOMBILLÉNIUM” by Arthur De Pins & Alexis Ducord; “Rodin” by Jacques Doillon; “Dopo La Guerra – Apres La Guerre”; “La Cordillera – El Presidente” and “Demons in Paradise”.

Aussie actress Nicole Kidman was all smiles while attending the “The Beguiled” photocall during Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 24). The 49-year-old looked radiant dressed in Alexander McQueen romantic nude dress with lace bodice from their Pre-Fall 2017 collection. Suring the press conference, she stated: “Only 4.2% of women directed the major motion pictures of 2016. That’s a statistic from the Women in Film group. There were 4,000 episodic TV series and only 183 women directed them.
