The seventh day of the 70th edition of the International Film Festival of Cannes started with more photocalls, screenings, premieres for the movies “The Beguiled” directed by Sofia Coppola and featuring Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Colin Farrell and Angourie Rice; Hikari by Naomi Kawase.
The stars gathered for a few events that took place this evening – Annabel’s x Chopard Party and L’Oréal Paris Celebrates Cinema.
Tonight, the Festival will celebrated its 70th anniversary at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, under the presidency of Isabelle Huppert and in presence of many Palme d’Or winners or artists that made the Festival’s history.

Sofia Coppola returns this year to Cannes with the Civil War-era drama “The Beguiled”, a reimagining of Thomas P. Cullinan’s 1966 novel, which also was the basis for the 1971 Clint Eastwood film of the same name. Coppola’s version stars Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning and Coppola’s frequent collaborator Kirsten Dunst, who play a group of women whose isolated existence at an all-girls boarding school is interrupted by the arrival of a wounded Union soldier (Colin Farrell).
