Italian fashion house Blumarine presented their new fall/winter 2016 collection at Milan fashion week fall 2016. Creative director Anna Molinari entitled this collection “Moonlit Nocturne” and she found inspiration in Helmut Newton’s advertising campaigns for their brand in the 1990-s.
The focus was on lovely pastel colors, flowy see through dresses, faux fur long coats, wide leg pants combined with skimpy blouses, pastel dresses with fur details on the hemline and even classic tailored coat dresses. There was a easy bohemian vibe all through the collection, but with lots of structured pieces, especially in outerwer.
Special guest at the show was music star Anastasia, who teamed up with Blumarine to launch a collection of eyewear – both optical and sunglasses.
