The 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is less than a day away and this year Victoria’s Secret Angels return to New York. Joining previously established Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel, the new 10 VS Angels – Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Monika “Jac” Jagaciak, Jasmine Tookes, Elsa Hosk, Stella Maxwell, Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Sara Sampaio and Romee Strijd will be showing their new Angel wings for the first time on the runway. In the recent days there has been a lot of controversial media headlines about model lineup. We were pretty much disappointed this year when Doutzen Kroes and Karlie Kloss left their VS Angel wings. Some of VS fashion show regulars like Isabeli Fontana, Sigrid Agren, Lindsay Ellingson and Jourdan Dunn will not be walking the show this year, while Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner have made the lineup.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the brand, the show will air on on Tuesday, December 8 on CBS and include music performances of Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding. Unexpectedly Rihanna canceled her performance a few days ago.
The honor of wearing the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra this year went to American beauty Lily Aldridge. The 2015 Fireworks Fantasy Bra is worth $2 million and it was designed exclusively for Victoria’s Secret by Mouawad. The total weight of the gem stones is 1,364 carats, while the diamonds weigh more than 375 carats. The matching cobalt blue panties are adorned with 126 diamonds and 400 other precious gems.
On Monday (November 2), Lily Aldridge revealed the $2 million 2015 Fireworks Fantasy Bra designed by Mouawad at Victoria’s Secret at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Calif. The 29-year-old sizzled in gold Zuhair Murad beaded v-neck gown with a sheer skirt and donned bold eyeliner makeup look.
