Yes it`s true, Depp for Dior. Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, 52, is the new face of Dior Sauvage fragrance campaign. This new fragrance by Dior is a new radical creation by François Demachy, Creator of Dior Perfume. Wild and noble. With Calabrian bergamot, rare ambroxan extracted from ambergris, blended resin of elemi incense, and many others, the new men’s fragrance, Sauvage using only the most perfect raw materials. In order to made this unapologetic and sophisticated fragrance, he chose to revisit and to modernize one of the great structures in men’s perfume-making: the fougère. To wit, raw materials of supreme quality bring to Sauvage a signature and sense of nobility unlike any other.
The campaign also features a short film which was made in the heart of the desert landscape of the Joshua Tree National Park, in California, starring Johnny Depp and directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Nighttime in Los Angeles, Johnny is on the guitar – mysterious and rock’n’roll. Illuminated by the city lights, he feels rage and frenzy, heads out to the road, goes into the desert sands.
