Style Guide: How to wear oversized sweater this fall?

0

Nothing puts us in the autumn mood more than wrapping up into cozy and comfy oversized sweaters. Designers like Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney, Celine, H&M and Burberry Prorsum have all had oversized sweaters as one of the biggest fall trends and cold weather staples in their Fall 2015 collection. How to style your chunky knit sweater?

Pairing it with skinny jeans, slouchy pants, cargo jeans, pencil skirt, leather pants or even with a pair of leggings and over-the-knee boots, can give you a stylish fall outfit. You`ll avoid making your favorite sweater looking to baggy by playing with the right proportions. Also keep in mind that accessories also tell the right story – instead of carrying oversized tote bags, go for smaller messenger bags and clutch bags.

Of course, shoes also play an important role. Pointed shoes elongate the legs and will make you look taller which will even more emphasize your chunky oversized sweater.
