American actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba features on the cover of The Edit by Net-A-Porter, November 19, 2015 issue. Photographed under the lens of Sebastian Kim and styled by Tracy Taylor. The 34-year-old posed in luxurious cashmere dresses and knitwear with natural makeup which accentuated her beauty even more. Her company “Honest” had $170 million in 2014 sales and was valued at $1.7 billion as of August 2015.

Here are the most interesting parts of the inside interview with Jessica:

On being a female CEO: “You feel like a lone wolf surrounded by men who have done it all before.”

On women being labeled differently than men: “I’ve actually felt this more in the entertainment industry. People never say a male actor is difficult, they call him smart, but if a woman did the same thing, she would be considered a b***h. I find it funny when I get called ambitious! I’ve even had my agents do intros and say ‘She’s a very ambitious young lady.’ And I’m always like ‘What the f**k does that mean?!”

On the launch of Honest: “Like when we launched Honest- it took us six weeks to realize we weren’t charging credit cards. At the time we were just like, the site hasn’t crashed yet, Thank God! We didn’t even notice people hadn’t paid!”

On her dating past: “I was never that girl. I never dated people to be successful, I never compromised myself, or my beliefs, or my values to get ahead. And you know, in a weird way, I liked it when they didn’t believe in me. It fueled me.”
