French fashion designer Guy Laroche presented his new spring/summer 2015 collection at Paris fashion week spring 2015. Creative director Marcel Marongiu found inspiration for this collection in global style icons Jane Birkin and designer Claire McCardell, their style and persona. All of which resulted in references to the 1950-s, fresh vibe and feminine silhouettes. The day wear was focused on perfectly tailored coats with oversized button details, while the colorblock cocktail dresses with flared skirts dominated the rest of the collection.
